About Us…

Welcome to Digital Sacristan, and our mission is simple: to help parishes show the world that they are alive.

Most parishes are deeply embedded in their communities—feeding the hungry, forming the faithful, and welcoming those who are searching. But if someone were to search for your parish online, would they see that life? Would they feel invited to come, to belong, to serve?

In today’s world, a parish’s digital presence is often the first encounter someone has with the Church. That’s why Digital Sacristan was created: to help Catholic parishes—especially in the Diocese of Richmond—build websites that clearly reflect their mission and identity. We design visually appealing, user-friendly sites with simple navigation so people can find your parish, understand what you offer, and get involved.

Whether someone is searching for answers or just looking for Mass times, your website should meet them with clarity, warmth, and a glimpse into the living Church.

This project grew out of my experience as Director of Liturgy at Church of the Incarnation in Charlottesville, Virginia. Week after week, I met people eager to serve—but unsure where to start. And when I invited newcomers to Mass, many were surprised to learn how vibrant and active our parish life truly was. From our food pantry to PACEM hospitality, from OCIA to music ministry, so much was happening—but little of it was visible online.

Digital Sacristan exists to change that. We can’t convert hearts—that’s God’s work—but we can help remove obstacles. We can make it easier for people to find your parish, recognize its vitality, and say yes to being part of it.

We want young people to see that parish life is something worth investing in—something beautiful, joyful, and alive. When your parish presents itself with the same professionalism and intentionality found on major platforms, it shows that we take our mission seriously. Even more, it reminds the world that the Church offers something no one else can: the undeniable and unshakable love of Christ. And that is what every heart is ultimately searching for.

Your parish is already doing incredible work—let’s make sure the world can see it!
